Worlds largest kaleidoscope
in Mount Tremper on Route 28, is very impressive. They have a gift shop full of kaleidoscopes. If your little one is ok in a movie theater type setting, then I think they will like this. Children under 11 are free.
Saugerties Lighthouse has a wonderful level walkway path to the lighthouse. Its great and easy path for adults and children.
Opus 40 has an amazing sculptural ground that you can check out on their website.

Cooper Lake is another easy walk that is graveled and flat. It’s the largest natural lake in the Catskills and the Kingston Reservoir. If interested I can give you directions.
The town of Woodstock
makes for a beautiful visit. There are many great places to eat, galleries and shops.
